The Blackbeard’s Pirate Jamboree is on as scheduled for this weekend in Ocracoke, Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
The committee wants to do the event outdoors but is working on an indoor contingency plan.
However, the decision has not yet been made to move events to indoor locations.
That decision will be made TODAY (Oct. 31) around 5 p.m.
After that, the committee will send out an update via email, websites and social media. Among the sites to check are this site, http://www.piratejamboree.com and the Jamboree Facebook page (Hattaras Ocracoke Pirate Jamboree. This is correct even though the spelling of Hatteras is incorrect).
