Gov. Roy Cooper will return to Ocracoke again today (Monday, Sept. 23) at 1 p.m. along with cabinet and emergency management officials to survey recovery efforts on Ocracoke Island after Hurricane Dorian.

The following is his schedule while on the island:

Stop 1: Volunteer Fire Department, 822 Irvin Garrish Hwy.

Stop 2: Temporary Medical Center, 305 Back Rd.

Stop 3: Visit to Ocracoke Historic District

These stops are subject to change.
