Easter morning will dawn sunny but will deteriorate in the afternoon ushering in a strong cold front Sunday night around 10 through Monday afternoon, according to the Storm Prediction Center out of Morehead City.
The center predicts scattered thunderstorms, high winds and strong surf for much of eastern North Carolina. See the graphics below for details as possible impacts on Ocracoke.
