Temporarily in the Deepwater Theater, School Road. Open from 3 to 7 pm Monday through Friday, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays. Storytime for babies and preschoolers 10 am Wednesdays.

The Ocracoke Island Weekend Runfest, featuring the Scallywag 5K/10K/half marathon, will roll on Nov. 13 and 14. Both Saturday and Sunday runs will be open to walkers and running strollers. To sign up, search for the race at http://www.runsignup.com/Races/NC.

The Festival Latino de Ocracoke, Nov. 20.

Thanksgiving weekend, a timed turkey trot will begin Thanksgiving morning (Nov. 25) at 8 a.m. starting in the NPS parking lot.

At dark on Friday, Nov. 26, the Boat Parade of lighted boats of all sizes will circle Silver Lake Harbor.

The OCBA will host a Holiday Gift Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Berkley Barn.
