To facilitate the post-Hurricane Dorian recovery efforts on Ocracoke, government agencies are requesting that all vehicles–golf carts, boats, trailers, recreational vehicles and other equipment–be removed from the NPS parking lot (aka the Base Docks) by noon on Monday (Sept. 16).
The inter-agency response associated with recovery from Hurricane Dorian will need to use the parking area to facilitate recovery that support the community to stage equipment and resources. Vehicles not removed from the lot by their owners will be subject to government removal.
