The board of directors of the Ocracoke Health Center, Inc. announces the resignation of CEO Joseph Rockenstein.

He has served in this position since July 2021, overseeing the operations of Ocracoke Health Center, Engelhard Medical Center and Manteo Community Health Center, according to a press release.

The board has initiated the search for candidates for this position.

The board has appointed Jamie Carter as the interim CEO and a key management team to lead the organization during the transition.
