The National Park Service will offer a free lecture about WWI U-boats off North Carolina waters at 6 p.m. Wednesday (March 27) in the Ocracoke Community Center.
Tane Renata Casserley, a researcher with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Monitor Marine Sanctuary, will present “The Enemy in Home Waters: How World War I Came Home to America’s Shores.”
