VETERINARY SERVICES
Roanoke Island Animal Clinic visits the island on the third Wednesday each month in the Community Center. Appointments required. Call 252-473-3117.
For May 15, it will be in the Ocracoke Volunteer Fire Department.

Yoga with Amy, inside Angie’s Gym, Sand Dollar Road. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:30 to 10 am. All levels welcome. $20/visitors; $15/residents; $5 off for under 18 and over 70. Cash or check only. Some mats available.

SOUND MEDITATION:

OCRACOKE DISCOVERY CENTER

. Open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 to 4:30 pm. Lighthouse base open during the same times.
Open for boat slip rentals and trailer parking permits; three restrooms in are open. NPS campground open all year. NPS campground reservations, and ORV permits available at http://www.recreation.gov.

Hyde County Transit giving Ocracoke islanders rides “up the beach” to Dare County as general transportation. Free to those 60+. For others, $3.20 to Avon; $5 for the Outer Banks trips. Call to schedule. 252-926-1637. Not available in May.
