The OCBA also will host the Blackbeard’s Pirate Jamboree Oct. 29 and 30 on the island. Activities include a living history encampment, swordfights, ship battles, songs and more.

The Festival Latino de Ocracoke will return this year with activities on Nov. 20.
Thanksgiving weekend, a timed turkey trot will begin Thanksgiving morning (Nov. 25) at 8 a.m. starting in the NPS parking lot.
At dark on Friday, Nov. 26, the Boat Parade of lighted boats of all sizes will circle Silver Lake Harbor.
The OCBA will host a Holiday Gift Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Berkley Barn.
