Saturday, April 23
Ocracoke 10K/5K road race. 8 a.m.; starts on N.C. 12 near Howard’s Pub; finishes at Gaffer’s Sports Pub
Family Fun Run: 1-mile. Starts at Ocracoke Child Care; ends at Ocracoke Coffee (sponsor). 10 a.m.
The Post-Run Party begins at 11 a.m. at Gaffer’s. Non-runners can join the eating and drinking for just $20; children under 18, $10.
Ocracoke’s Little League teams, the Blue Claws and the Raptors, have home games; 1 p.m. Community Park, Maurice Ballance Road.
