The United Methodist church will present a program about Methodist work in the country of Armenia at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday).

Nara Melkonyan, the NC Conference’s Director of Project AGAPE in Armenia, will talk about how Methodists from North Carolina have worked in partnership with their Orthodox brothers and sisters to help young people, families and communities throughout this region.

Across the war-torn Caucasus Mountains of the former Soviet Union and nestled on the border between Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Georgia and Turkey, Armenia sits at the crossroads between East and West.

Refreshments will be provided.
