Ocracoke’s Meet the Candidates night Monday (Oct. 24) took place the same time that a similar forum took place in Dare County at Waveriders in Nags Head for a give-and-take on schools, the environment, Medicaid and other issues.

House District 6 candidates Beverly Boswell (R), Warren Judge (D) and Senate District 1 candidate Brownie Futrell (D) attended. Senate incumbent, Bill Cook, did not participate.  This event was  sponsored by The Outer Banks Voice and Milepost magazine.

Since these three candidates want to represent Ocraoke, we are providing access to the video of the event, courtesy of the Outer Banks Voice.
