Methodist Church, Community Easter Egg hunt, 10 a.m.

Ocracoke Community Center: Clam Chowder Cook-Off, fundraiser for Ocracoke Child Care, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission $10 to sample several traditional and non-traditional clam chowders and vote for your favorite. Hot dogs and baked goods for sale, too.

Ocracoke Oyster Co.: Martin Garrish, 6:30 p.m.

Deepwater Theater: Ocracoke Alive preview of the 2017 Ocrafolk Opry. 7:30 p.m.

Gaffer’s: Johnny Love, 9 p.m.

Easter Sunday, April 16

Lifeguard Beach: Ocracoke’s churches, Ocracoke Assembly of God and Ocracoke United Methodist, conduct their annual sunrise service. 6:30 a.m.
