Blackbeard’s Pirate Jamboree begins today on Ocracoke Island, N.C., and continues through Sunday afternoon. Ocracoke School Halloween Carnival today and a keg tapping at Zillie’s.

3:30 – 10pm : Ocracoke School PTA Halloween Parade & fundraising Carnival, Ocracoke School Gym (all invited)
4-6pm: Brigand’s Bazaar Twilight Market, Wahab House Lawn
A marketplace of seafaring crafts & wares.
Then… at the Ocracoke Community Center
7-10pm: Meet The Pirates! Family friendly fun, $5 admission. There will music, fun and the chance to test your pirate knowledge against the experts! Beer, wine and refreshments provided.
7 pm: The Motley Tones: Rollicking Good Music and Fun
Their harmonious renditions of songs of love, and travel and the sea will help set the mood for the fabulous weekend of piracy ahead.
7:45 pm: Captain Jim is Magic and Mystery!
He Tells Tall Tales of his Peg Leg Pirate history. Professional Illusions both stage and strolling. Amazing fun for everyone!
8:30pm: “Will the Real Blackbeard Please Stand Up” Join us for an all-new rollicking interactive game show. Hosted by historian/author Kevin Duffus.
