Coyote Music Den open music jam, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sing, play, listen; all ages, all levels welcome (youth are encouraged to come at 6:30). No charge, but donations welcome.

Wednesday, Feb. 7
Ocracoke Advisory Planning Board; 4:30 p.m. Community Center
OCBA Civic Affairs committee to discuss Passenger Ferry project, PED study of ferry system, mosquito control, waterways and more. 7 p.m. Community Center
Coyote Music Den: Word Play, 7 to 8:30 p.m. If you love words, bring something you wrote, read, heard and share; listen or tell a story. No charge, but donations welcome.
Gaffer’s: Island trivia (new teams welcome), 7 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 10
Variety Store porch: Mexican Food Sale Fundraiser for the Ocracoke School cheerleaders, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ocracoke Oyster Company: Valentine’s Dance with the Rockers. 8 p.m. Dinner and dancing. Complimentary dessert for all dining couples. 

Sunday, Feb. 11
Ocracoke Library: Party with Pigeon. All ages welcome for games, treats, story time and treats. 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Monday, Feb. 12
Tourism Development Authority, 2 to 5 p.m. Hyde County ABC Board, 6:30 p.m. Community Center.
