Editor’s note: As Hurricane Florence heads toward the southeastern U.S. coast, these events are subject to cancellation. Already, the Ocracoke Civic & Business Association has postponed the civic affairs meeting scheduled for Wednesday to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19. More updates will follow as the storm track progresses.

Monday, Sept. 10
