The Ocracoke Preservation Society Sixth Annual “Ocracoke Through Your Eyes” Art Auction will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in the museum at 49 Water Plant Rd. This fundraiser features small works donated by local artists of all levels and media and Ocracoke fans far and wide.

The artists are asked to depict Ocracoke as they see it–the beach, the village, the people, any small part that they choose. Participants can draw, paint, glue, sew, staple, or otherwise add artistic embellishments to the small ready-to-hang canvasses.

Some pieces are posted on the OPS Facebook page for pre-event bidding. Online bidding guidelines are linked on this page:  https://ocracokepreservation.org/
