Ocracoke’s fresh seafood retailers are scheduled to open Friday (April 12).
Native Seafood and the Ocracoke Seafood Company (aka, the Fish House) will both open from noon to 5 p.m. Friday.
The Fish House will be open Saturday and Sunday and also Thursday through Sunday for Palm Sunday and Easter weekends.
Until the ocean waters warm, the seafood offerings and open times for the Fish House will vary, said Pattie Plyler, who manages the retail side of the Fish House.
But customers can expect bluefish, shrimp, scallops, crab meat and oysters.
Native Seafood will be open daily for the season starting Friday.
