Tuesday, Dec. 10:
OPS Wassail Party and Community Tree Lighting. OPS will draw the winning ticket for the 2019 Quilt Raffle. Museum shop open for holiday gifts. 4 to 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 11:
Roanoke Island Animal Clinic will be at the Life Saving Church starting at 9 a.m. For appointment, please call 252-473-3117.

Thursday, Dec. 12
Grateful Yoga with Scott Lawlor at Island Yoga Studio. Back Road. 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 13
Ocracoke Strong Kitchen serves lunch in the Community Center.  11:15 a.m. After Xmas, the Kitchen hopes to be open three days a week.
Please remember this is for full-time, year-round residents only.
Holiday open house at Down Creek Gallery. 5 to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments and live music with Kate McNally.
Holiday Lights Decoration Contest.  Due to the rain forecast, judging will be on Saturday, Dec. 14, 6 to 8 p.m. Please register your house here to ensure you will get judged.  Please register your home or business by 9 p.m. Dec. 12. Registering is not required; just makes it easier to know the name and address of the home owner. Categories this year: Most Traditional, Best Business, Best Theme, Most Original, The Griswold Award

Saturday, Dec. 14:
Free child car seat safety clinic. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the boat ramp in the NPS parking lot. Free child car seats from Safe Child.
Shop Local in the Castle. Local vendors. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Bella Fiore Holiday Open House. Back Road. Noon to 5 p.m.
Gift Certificate Saturday: Support local Ocracoke businesses by purchasing a gift certificate. Community Center. 2 to 5 p.m. Free to island businesses to participate.

Sunday, Dec. 15:
Ocracoke School’s annual holiday program and the Community Christmas Concert will be combined for a Holiday Dinner Show. 5 p.m. in the Berkley Barn. The Ocracoke Strong kitchen crew, with help from Ocracoke students, will provide a sit-down dinner.
