Dec. 10. The Ocracoke Preservation Society will hold its annual Wassail Party today in its yard at the David William’s House Museum from 4 to 6 p.m. Bring a plate of cookies to share (or just show up) and a mug for hot wassail.

The Ocracoke School kindergarten children will be singing.

The winning raffle ticket for this year’s handmade quilt by the Ocracoke Needle and Thread Club also will be drawn.

All are invited to attend the party.

The Ocracoke Preservation’s Society David William’s House Museum is located on the right side of the large NPS parking lot near the Swan Quarter/Cedar Island ferries, 49 Water Plant RD.
