The Castle B&B, on Silver Lake Drive,will hold a Christmas market, featuring local artisans and businesses, from noon to 5 p.m. this weekend, Dec. 10, 11 and 12.

Among the businesses scheduled will be Moonraker Tea Shop, Magic Bean Coffee Bazaar and Skinvy skin products, Fairy Stiches by Carol Bullard, seashell jewelry by Jamie Thompson and art by Kitty Mitchell.

Bullard, who is the assistant innkeeper and who creates the hand-sewn Fairy Stitches, will also make a traditional English trifle for shoppers to sample.

The trifle is a layered dessert of Jell-O with fruit, sponge cake and thick custard, topped with whipped cream.

“The Castle will be ready for Christmas,” Bullard said.
