Former Ocracoke Island homeowner Brigitte Eisfeld Cromwell, 88, died Aug. 1.
She was born August 15, 1934, in Leipzig, Germany, and was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Beale Cromwell and son Olaf Stüwe.
She is survived by sons Alf Cromwell (Laurie) and Patrick Cromwell (Stacia); eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pa.
