The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau is partnering with the Outer Banks Community Foundation to co-host the free 4th Annual Nonprofit Knowledge Series Workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, in the Coastal Studies Institute in Wanchese.

This practical workshop titled “Purpose & Nonprofit Thriving” will be led by Melissa Le Roy, who is the founder of On Fire Nonprofit and a Duke University nonprofit management instructor.

She works with nonprofits across the country to strengthen leadership, governance, fundraising and organizational culture, helping organizations thrive while advancing their missions.

This event is sponsored by Outer Banks Health and is open to all nonprofits, including their board members, staff, and volunteers.

Although the workshop is FREE to attend, pre-registration is required.
