If you, as an Ocracoke resident, were to lose your priority pass for the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry, would the resulting difficulty in travel to and from the island force you or someone in your household to consider moving off Ocracoke?

Who would ever consider homeowners to be anything less than a priority when they own a home on an island and live there full time or part time? Seriously! Anyone that thinks this way should be ashamed of themselves.

I’m a home owner, residents deserve to have priority as well as businesses! If I were a permanent resident I would consider leaving, I cannot imagine the difficulty driving to and from the island without priority ! I’ve been visiting for 50 years and an owner for 30 years.
I’ve owned a home in Ocracoke for 30 years and would like to move here full time. I would be unable to do that if I could not go off island every few weeks for the medical care I need. (Shots in both eyes which save me from going blind.
