Early April is when the wisteria are in full bloom at the Thurston House B&B on Ocracoke.

Tuesday, April 5

Coyote Den in the Community Square Open Jam, 7 to 9 p.m. For musicians, singers, listeners; all ages

Wednesday, April 6

Public Hearing by the Coastal Rsources Commission at 1 p.m. in the OVFD in regard to Ocean Erodible Area.

Gaffer’s: Free Texas Hold ’em Poker, 7 p.m.

Friday, April 8

Coyote Music Den: Martin Garrish and friends, “Ocracoke Memories,”  8 p.m.

Gaffer’s: Live Music 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 9

Ocracoke Oyster Company: Martin and friends, 6:30 p.m.

Gaffer’s: Live Music, 8:30 p.m.

Ocracoke Bar & Grille will have guest artists throughout the month

of April and a regular schedule beginning in May.

Monday, April 11

Ferry Division monthly meeting/update. 1 p.m. Community Center. Open to all.
