This article has been updated to include Sunday’s Methodist Church perfomance.
The Salem Select Girls Choir is coming to Ocracoke. This Saturday there will be a free performance at 7.pm in Ocracoke Alive’s Deepwater Theater.
They will also sing at the Ocracoke United Methodist Church Sunday service at 11 am.
Both Deepwater Theater and the Methodist church are located on School Road.
Prior to the concert, the group will be at Ocracoke School for performances and student

workshops on Friday.
This is a small but diverse group of students from Salem High School in Virginia Beach, Va., who are joined together by their common love of singing.
Their music covers a variety genres, from Classical to Spiritual to light Pop and Rock, with a few original works by their director, Lynne German.
Although the concert is free of charge, donations will be accepted.
For more information, contact Ocracoke Alive at info@ocracokealive.org, or call 252-921-0260.
I don’t know why the article didn’t mention it but they’re also singing, at the United Methodist Church on Sunday Morning. So if you missed anything not covered in the article above, come to church at 11 on Sunday morning or just come and see them again!
We did not have that information. We updated the article. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
I thought they might have mentioned. They know they’re coming and singing two songs.
