Barrier Island Nature, 3 pm
Join a Ranger for a talk about the wild side of Ocracoke. Meet at the benches by the Visitor Center. (30 minutes)
Ocracoke after Dark, 8:30 pm
Explore the night sky with a ranger. Bring bug spray. Meet at the Ocracoke Day Use Area. (1 hour)
Tuesday:
Cast Netting, 8:30 am
Practice this early method of fishing still used today. Limited to 12 participants. Pre-registration required at the visitor center by 5 p.m. the day before the program. (90 minutes)

Ocracoke Lighthouse
The base of the Ocracoke Lighthouse open for viewing from 10 am to noon. Visitors are encouraged to walk or bike to the lighthouse due to very limited parking.
