Watch the restoration of the historic Island Inn and transformation of the surrounding lot into a lush public garden, all at the heart of Ocracoke Village in North Carolina’s Outer Banks.

Wonderful video. We just returned from our annual two-week vacation on Ocracoke. Wish we’d seen this while we were there….
What a fantastic job! Kudos to all that were involved in this tremendous project. Looking forward toes his “Sanctuary” on my next visit to Ocracoke.
I’m anxiously awaiting a report of a Mrs. Godfrey sighting, of her casually strolling through the gardens on some dark and stormy night.
