Molasses Creek has a new video “Holy Smoke” from their most recent album “Waterbound.”
The long-time Ocracoke performers and recording artists on this video are Gary Mitchell on guitar, Fiddler Dave Tweedie on fiddle, Kim France on upright bass and Gerald Hampton on mandolin. The song is about barbecue, and the visuals in the video have Gerald strumming a copper-bottom stainless steel saucepan and Kim plucking bass notes off a bag of charcoal.

The group performs Thursday nights in the Deepwater Theater located on School Rd. during the high season, from June to October. They also perform Wednesday evenings during the Ocrafolk Opry.
