Next summer, Ocracoke Alive will again present the Ocracoke musical, “A Tale of Blackbeard,” written by Julie Howard, and auditions will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 3) in Deepwater Theater.

The musical took a hiatus this year and last, but the comedy revue, “Blackbeard: An (Historical/Hysterical) Account,” filled on on Mondays in this summer and last.

That show is over for the year, but the “Dingabatter’s Guide to Ocracoke” on Wednesdays and Molasses Creek concerts on Thursday nights, both at 8 p.m., continue through September.
