The Ocracoke Civic & Business Association’s civic affairs meeting at 6 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, March 18) will be broadcast via Facebook Live. Some participants will be on the mainland, and some on island, and this will be the most efficient technology to bring the community this important information on the COVID-19 Virus and additional Hyde County Updates.
Even if you don’t have Facebook, you can still participate. Here is the link:

After the live feed is over, the video will remain on the Hyde County public information website. The meeting will be conducted in English, but the OCBA will get all notes transcribed and translated to Spanish after the meeting and available for distribution by Thursday morning.
