‘Long Point Big Turtle,’ by Ann Ehringhaus

“Living on the Core,” a photography/poetry show by Ocracoke photographer Ann Ehringhaus, is on view through September at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum on Harkers Island.

The show includes 18 images made around the cabin camps on the North and South Core beaches of Portsmouth Island and nine poems written there.

Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, 1785 Island Rd., Harkers Island, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. 252-728-1500.
