Editor’s note: This post will be updated continually. Businesses should email email@example.com with their seasonal updates.
Ocracoke Island is open for all amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and businesses are slowly reopening for the season.
Restaurants that are open may serve takeout, have limited inside dining and outdoor dining in this Modified Stay-at-Home order of reopening North Carolina, which still requires wearing of face coverings in public places. Personal services with social distancing are open. See story here.
Current ferry schedules can be found here.
This pandemic has presented a new game for all and the Observer urges all visitors to practice the “Three W’s”: Wear a mask, Wait six feet apart and Wash your hands frequently. Until widespread vaccination has been done, this is what health officials prescribe to prevent the spread of this sneaky virus.
