Symmetry Financial Group out of Swannanoa, Buncombe County, will be on Ocracoke Island next week to talk to islanders about all forms of insurance and financial planning.
The group will hold free seminars and one-on-one sessions in the suites at the Silver Lake Motel starting Sunday evening.
The times for the seminars are as follows:
Sunday, Sept. 18, 7 p.m.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 19, 20 & 21, at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 22, at 7 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m., 2 & 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 24, at 10 a.m.
This group will discuss all kinds of insurance and investment strategies, such as the different kinds of life insurance, annuities, health insurance, long-term care, Medicare supplements, prescription drug plans, disability insurance, dental, vision and hearing, critical illness plans.
They can talk about property and casualty insurance, mortgage protection. They can talk to business owners about buying and selling agreements, business succession planning and key employee coverage.
While the presenters will not have a Spanish interpreter along, islanders are welcome to bring whatever translation help they need for translating the information in real time, be it a child, another adult or an electronic application.
Everyone who attends will listen to a 15-minute general information seminar and then an opportunity to schedule a private consultation.
